setting up an appointment for Interview

Hi Vj family. We just got our MNL case # from NVC and according to them they already forwarded our documents to USEM. I just want to know if I need to pay the $131 first before calling USEM for interview appointment?

Well, depending on when they sent it, most likely USEM will not schedule you an interview until your petition actually gets there. It should only take 3-5 days to get there.

You don't need to pay the visa fee before making an appointment, but it would be a good idea to pay it when you can(it's good for a year). Just pay for the $18 PIN and you can schedule the interview for your SO if you know of a good date that will work out for her to go.

Thanks for your reply iahmpinoy. It helps a lot. As per NVC they send it Dec. 12. Hopefully USEM received it already.
