Wow! Everyone on here is soooo nice. Funny too. I though that she had gone missing too. haha.

Well, I guess I'm old fashioned, or new fashioned, or something. I accept the fact that I chose this, and I knew what I was doing. I have a good life now. When my wife finally joins me, it will be the beginning of a new chapter in my journey. My life will be different and.....OMG.....she really brings a light to my life that nobody has before. I understand how you feel, its hard, and there are plenty of people who will share that with you.

But...yes, the big BUT....

A short story. Last time I was in Thailand visiting my wife; she had a terrible nightmare. She dreamed that I was in a terrrible motorcycle accident. She woke up sobbing and really crying so hard for about 15 min. I did my best to comfort her. The thing is...I see that this family we are creating is the most important thing in the world to her. (And, I'm glad that it is) she is filled up bye this love, and the hope and dreams of our future together. Woman are like this. They want to be able to be emotional and passionate about the feelings in the relationship. My job is to make sure she can do that comfortably. That means I have to take care of things so she never feels like she has to worry. Of course, she will always worry, but I hope that deep down inside, she knows she can count on me to do what is best for our family; not based on my emotions, but on hers.

My wife is a professional who makes the same money, and has the same (probably more) responsibility at her job than I do. Yes...she can do everything a man can do. But, she doesnt have to do both when she is with me, at home. she can just be a wonderful, emotional, happy, caring, crying, beautiful woman.

Make sense?

My advise. 'Think about her.' She is feeling all this more than you. She needs you to be strong. Do you want her to hide her feeling because she has to worry about you. I do know people who have that relaionship; he if fem, she is masc.

What you should do is take care of yourself, and take care of everything that needs to be done to get you two together. Be strong for the woman that you love. She needs to know you are ok.

Oh, I see she posted while I was writing this. Looks like she is trying to cheer you up.

:( Hi folks just a short message really....... I met Sue a month ago now in the states when i went to stay there, we had the most fantastic time ever!. While i was there i proposed in a Beautiful Location in Indiana and of course she said yes!.

Anyways onto my main point since i came back my life just isn't the same..... :crying: , i don't know what i'm doing half the time , i feel i don't fit in anymore and we are missing each other so damn much!!!, we are constantly on the internet and phone each other 4 times a day......... , But it just isn't enough!!..

How do all you people cope?!, my divorce here is nearly done, Sues won't be long , then we can apply for K1 at last!.

But how do we cope with the missing each other part?!!!...... some days it really tears us apart!, we have been planning wedding, and house and kids and stuff to try make things easier!.

Any advice Truly welcome Please!!!!.. :help:

Thanks folks and GodBless!!.... Love Youy Sue!! :luv:

Everyone knows what you are going through and we have all been there. My fiancee and I have several coping mechanisms. We like to text message each other in the morning or the evening to let the other know we are thinking about each other. Sometimes to say good morning,or sweet dreams or just to let them know that you love them. Our problem is the 13 hour time difference which makes timing a task. We also like to talk about the special times we shared, the silly things that happened when we visit. We practice each others languages on each other. Her english is much better than my Russian. But we spend time just telling each other about our days. We try to pretend that instead of 13000 miles between us we are next to each other talking when we are on the phone. It is always amazing how the must mundane and nonimportant things can fill a conversation.

We also like to joke that when the phone clicks or makes funny phone noises we say hello to the NSA or the FBI. Once about a week ago there was a strange noise that sounded like helicopters were coming and we still laugh about that. Just enjoy each other when ever you talk and dont worry about the time it is going to take. Anticipation is a good way to learn discipline. Plus you can always have phone sex hehehehe, just remember to put a condom on the phone, dont want her getting pregnant.
