So my Sister and Nephew saw the ortho guy yesterday, very nice man and he will fix my Nephew's back - they are hoping for a 50% improvement at least - which is good.

The thing with Southwest, she said, the people on the plane were lovely - the people at the check in counters were horrible. Because of the dent in the plane they got sent to Chicago - where she would have to catch another flight that would get them to St. Louis about 2 hours late - probably making them miss the plane back to Omaha. She had asked if there were any earlier flights out of Chicago - no. The thing with the surgeon is that he runs appts late, he spends as much time with them as he wants (which is a good thing). For instance, they got there about 1:30 - they were there about 4.5 hours.

So they get to Chicago and some people who had heard she wanted to get to St. Louis earlier walk by her and ask if that is correct - they say - well we just got an earlier flight to St. Louis (on Southwest) and you might be able to get on that flight too.

So she goes over to the line up at the counter, just wanting to ask if that was full. She goes to the front and asks the guy if she can just ask a question - "No! No questions!" (he actually yelled at her).

Anyway, they did manage to get on that flight, were not so late getting to St. Louis and did get their flight back to Omaha.

OT but were there cameras around filming airline at all?

Donne moi une poptart!

Ugh. Chicago O'Hare is craziness. Sorry the guy yelled at her. :( Glad the doctor is going to be able to help your nephew. :)

And LOL @ Sprailenes. I thought of that show too. Oh, and I always look for the camera crew whenever I fly SW! LOL

I love Airline. The original British one is better though.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Good morning everyone!

Kritkit - you are so welcome. In fact it hasnt stopped snowing and was near white out conditions today so I did another video that I will be uploading to my youtube account tonight. :D

trail - I'm glad they got to see the doctor, but I'm sad to hear the counter dude yelled at her. No matter how horribly busy it is they should never be snappy with the customers. How unprofessional. O'Hare can be absolutely nuts, but I do love the tunnel from B to C, with the neon silly string on the ceiling!
