Sorry. I just couldn't get into that. Had no idea what they were saying. LOL

Ooops! I guess I should mention that this post was in reference to Emancipation's link.

I clicked on it and I had the news on something I was wanted to listen to - about shutting down bars early in Orange County - and the sound was off on my comp and then I clicked that on and - anyway I didn't watch it

My Sister and my Nephew are on their way to St. Louis today, to see a world renowned orthopedic surgeon about his botched spinal surgery. There is all this bad weather up there and I hope they don't get stuck in St. Louis. They are suing the original surgeon, the story is long and amazingly stupid and I can't believe the guy is still ....oh well, anyway, I'm glad he gets to see this great surgeon.

Ohmygoodness, Trailmix. That sounds horrible. I sure hope the new surgeon can help him.

I read that as not whining.

So my Sister and Nephew are still in Nebraska. The flight they were to take (Southwest) - was cancelled because the plane had a dent in it.

:o

That sounds kinda scary. I (L) Southwest, though. Hope they're rescheduled in time to make the appointment.

 that's funny.. but not great that the flight was cancelled..

I was once on a plane that while boarding was hit by the Miami Dolphin's equipment truck.. it hit the wing.. the pilot came on and said "if everyone will look on the left side of the plane you will note we are attached to a truck, I highly recommend that we take another plane to our destination".. so we all got off and went on another plane :)

Something isn't adding up. How does a sweater leave a mark?

That's funny that you think it's funny and I think it's scary, Emancipation. Your story's funny, though.

I asked him, maybe he will tell us.

So my Sister and Nephew got on the next flight - they will be late for their appointment, however this Dr. is notoriously slow (as in you can expect to wait 4-5 hours after your appt. time to get in to see him) - I spoke with his assistant, she said no problem.

My Sister is not a happy camper right now.

I have this aunt who is literally mentally off and she sends me a birthday card in January every single year. My birthday's in May.

Anyways she uses a commodore 64 to make the cards.. no word of a lie, the pixels are huge and you can tell she still uses the paper where you have to rip the sides off. I swear she has boxes of this stuff but only uses it for birthday cards to me. She doesn't send anyone else one either.. just me.

The cards she sends always say something like: "Happy Birthday" but have a picture of something random like a pickle, or a bag of potatoes. This year it was a hot dog.

I love it.

I just noticed that.

I would be a happy camper. 1) She doesn't have to sit in a waiting room for 4-5 hours. 2) She'll arrive alive. :)

Yeah she will still have to wait for 4-5 hours - she will just be there later - so they will probably miss their return flight tonight.

But yes, it's good they are on top of things at Southwest
