So I watched the movie 'The Women' today. Hmm, it is not a bad movie, quite watchable - then again it is not a great movie.

that is what I felt too..

and it wasn't till about 15 minutes into the movie that I realized that there were no men whatsoever in the movie.. not even the people in the backgrounds etc.....

*crosses "The Women" off to-do list*

I wouldn't cross it off your list.. it was entertaining just not a movie I would ever watch again....

Yeah, I found the pace of it to be frenetic - which was kind of annoying, I guess a lot has to do with what kind of mood you are in too

Shite! Len! I hope you are okay baby-cakes.

ps-thanks for the reminder about homeland security my little babies!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

 Oh Sprailenes! As the mother of a 12 year old boy, let me say, boy are you ever in for it! lol It starts as funyuns, then it moves on to corn chips and pretzels. After that it's straight downhill and he won't want to leave his computer because there is a multi-hour IM session going on. Then you'll get the one I just got - he asked a girl to the Valentine's Day dance. Can't you just wait? I do have to admit that even though it makes me a little nervous sometimes, they're so cute at the different girlfriend stages. (L)

Oh man! I know there is no turning back. Its bitter sweet. Just last month he still claimed to hate girls.

Ahh boys are funny... he has even been spending more time in his bathroom in the morning, and putting gel in his hair... too much gel actually.
