ugh, I am tired..... my commute home which usually takes 30 minutes or less took me over an hour... and our car has a little problem with overheating sometimes and it choose today to act up so I had to sit in the car with the heat blaring and all the windows open so I wouldn't melt ... double ugh...

Good Morning all. Brrrr pretty cold morning here. Probably pretty cool for most of us except for Marilyn. Sure hope that car hasn't broken down on you Marilyn!

You must be excited Krikit to have your daughter book a visit with you! While my daughter isn't visiting this spring, we are going to see her this fall! She won a trip at work for a week to San Diego, so we're going to go out and visit her there. Haven't decided when, she'd like to go down for her birthday in September though. She also was chosen to go on another trip for 5 days in May. I'm so proud of her accomplishments at work.

I don't know that I've ever ironed pillowcases. I really don't know how one could anyway. Our pillows are big enough that they seem to fill the case, so it gets smoothed out automatically. Viola! No ironing needed! :hehe:

Enjoy your day!

Wow! Good for your daughter! That's awesome. Five Days in May is one of my favourite Blue Rodeo tunes. :luv:

Morning guys! Had a stressful day at work yesterday and ended up leaving early because I really didn't feel well.

Now I am back and ready to roll though.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

That is a good song krikit

Note: no goodies with coffee, you all are being so good it makes me feel a bit bad

The sheet thing, isn't it the 100% cotton thing that makes them so wrinkly, I just bought new ones and purposefully bought cotton and they wrinkle like the dickens (like the dickens ah haha) - but they are soft and comfy so I don't care.

That's great that your Daughter and cousin are coming to visit krikit, you get a lot of visitors!

What did your Daughter do to win the trip Carla?
