I'd say have fun but it just doesn't sound right.

(I have no idea what UP is. lol)

haha UP is a new movie out, it's animation but I've heard so many good things about it. Eman went to see it and said it was very UPlifting so I want to check it out!

make sure you goto a theatre that is showing it in 3D, not all do as my wife found out,lol But I have heard froma few friends that have seen it in 3D and the regular way, 3D is NOT a must!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I used to enjoy watching Jon and Kate. I think it's all so ridiculously out of control now as well. I liked to see how they parented and those kids are so cute.

Now, they are these two celebs. With every season, Kate gets more orange and thin, and John gets more hair and tries to act more cool. It's really odd.

I feel really bad fro the children as they are going to be caught up in a divorce that is in their home, and in the media spotlight as well.

Carla, I also have to start putting stuff together fro removal of conditions. REALLY not looking forward to it.

On one of my first trips to visit Mel, there was a Jon and Kate marathon and it was really horrible weather, so we curled up on the couch and watched many episodes. I reluctantly admit that I liked it. How can you not like the first season? Those kids are adoreable and could melt the frostiest of hearts. I was eventually turned off by the constant browbeating that she gives her husband each and every show. I know this puts Mel off too. I didn't really despise them until the last few months. They are blatantly exploiting themselves and their kids for money. Reading about a checklist of material things that they want and what drives them to this. I really hope the bulk of the money is going into a trust for the kids that they cannot access.

I haven't been to a funeral here, as yet, but I imagine it's the same as Canada.... whatever you feel comfortable in. The only difference I've noticed is that at African-American funerals they wear white instead of black. I've noticed they do that at the Easter services as well.

Thanks. Not fun, but maybe our presence can help in a way.

I want to see UP too :D If it's raining, maybe we'll do that!

My boss isn't very computer literate, in fact it takes her all day to answer her emails and send emails, which means I am doing the rest of her work. This seems to bother a few of the other employees, I guess maybe because they were wishing I would do all of their work too? I dunno. She is however a great talker and she is great with the members.

Sometimes it bothers me, but if I didn't have her work load I'd have nothing to do. The only thing that bothers me is that she gets paid more but besides that it really doesn't bother me too much. I wish that other people around here would stop talking about it though.

The funny glasses are not so funny anymore.. they are real plastic dollar store glasses now with black lenses.. not paper ones with red & blue lenses.. :(

I think we need a thread of funny facebook updates but maybe I would be the only one posting. An hold friend from HS just posted her update as:

Can't wait to watch my show, So You Think You Could Dance!!!

And I just burst out laughing because "could" is the past tense of can... so it's like: "Well you thought you could dance... BUT YOU COULDN'T"

I can't stop laughing and my husband is staring at me funny and doesn't know why it's so funny. :(

It's not just me is it??

I made up a visa rendition for VJ to go along with the free credit report.com commercial:

Well I married my dream girl, I married my dream girl

But she didn't tell me her intentions were bad

So now instead of living in an American suburb

We're living with her parents in Islamabad

:D Admit it... I'm a GENIUS! :D

love it! You're a genius.

Edited by Kathryn41

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
