There was an armed robbery at a jewelry store in center city philadelphia just a little while ago, my husband literally works a half a block away.

He is always talking about how its safe where he works - WRONG.. there's no safe zone in a city.

Donne moi une poptart!

Under the Tuscan Sun is on TV right now- one of those movies I have to watch whenever it is on. I never read the book but I have always wondered: How did she deal with Immigration? She decided to just live in Italy while there on vacation. Didn't she need a visa?

Oh you know, it's Hollywood! They don't think about immigration in Hollywood. Just like the silly movie coming out "The Proposal." Sandra Bullock marries her employee for the green card, duh. That's stupid.

I wondered that too! I couldn't let it go. I was like..... "You can't do that!"

It was a lovely movie, though.

not sure what went down but today when I got back from errands there was a whole bunch of police cars blocking the other end of the street, the cop car I saw was one of those unmarked cars that just had the lights in the back window.. I saw a cop talking to a lady... will have to watch the news to see if they say what happened

yeah like I might have mentioned before, we don't live in the greatest neighborhood.. it has gotten worse over the last year or so, I guess a couple of big gangs have moved into the neighborhood..

I wish we could take our apartment and move it to a better neighborhood but then our rent would be $1500 :P so we will have to move to a apartment that is a lot smaller just so we can get into a nicer neighborhood
