I started watching the second season of Ice Road Truckers on Hulu yesterday.. holy hannah, I would not want to drive on the frozen ocean.. that seems way more scary then where they drove last year

I can't wait til I have an American IP address and Hulu lets me watch their videos. I'm sick of the, "sorry, this content is unavailable in your country," or "sorry, this content is only viewable in the United States" alerts.

yeah, it is too bad you can't get Hulu to work in Canada..

I love it.. we don't have cable so I can watch a lot of the shows I like .. .. they even have started adding Dog Whisperer episodes too..

Well my cat went to the vet and she has an infection - she got some penicillin and a B12 shot and some antibiotics and she is fine. :)

Glad TMixy Kitty is on the mend.

Good morning everyone! We had a wonderful weekend in Hannibal. Lots of Mark Twain! Here is a picture of me by Lover's Leap. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I haven't had time to read all the news here yet, but did see something about trailmix's kitty and hope she/he's feeling MUCH better now.

Enjoy your day!

Haha if only you guys knew some of the names I was planning on naming my son... the best was: "Corgan" after my musical hero Billy Corgan.

I honestly thought that's what I was going to name him, a friend of mine even made me a blanket with the name "Corgan" on it.

However my mother was quick to remind me a couple of weeks before I gave birth of a promise I made to her when I was a child that she could name my first born. I guess it's a good thing I kept my word.

A couple in NJ named their child "Adolf Hitler", and they tried to get the local supermarket to have the child's b-day cake say Happy Birthday Adolf. Needless to say the bakery would not comply, and the child was since removed from the parents home

For once, I have something positive to say!

I just found out I'm graduating with first-class standing. I'm not to sure what this means but I assume its a good thing!

Congrats, that's awesome!

Congrats, that's awesome!

That couple unfortunately lives about 5 minutes down the road from me. How shameful.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Congrats Huggle!

Glad you had such a nice time Carla and yes, kitty cat is feeling quite a bit better today :)

That looks like such a pretty area - was the B&B as nice as it looked?

So my husband decided to team up with some friends and start playing music together. I think this is so cool. I always wanted to be with a band dude.
