LoL, hydro has a completely different meaning here.

I think I missed something.

I still have a hard time when I talk about hydro/electric/gas/water bill here. I keep saying hydro and jared keeps saying, "NO AMANDA! FOR THE LAST TIMEEEE.." etc.

:( It's confusing.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Aw, what's wrong? :(

*sigh.. i'm all discombobulated these days.. just really really anxious and stressed and tired and disinterested.. not a good combo :(

I dunno if it's all the personal stuff we've been dealing with hubby's ex & the situation with the kids, or if it's the apt. hunt, or if it's just the time of year, or if I'm just loosing it :)

*sigh.. i woke up today wanting to sit on someone's couch for a while and just jabber on about a tonne of unrelated issues.

One of our staff members just made me laugh out loud. We were discussing national anthems (US vs. Canada) and he (a USC) said "I wish our national anthem were in iambic pentameter"

Yeah, people probably say that about our Anthem all the time :hehe:

So last night I heard this light thudding against the sliding door - and I already knew what it was - it was a flying cockroach, trying to beat down the door. So I said to Mike - what do they think this is, the cockroach hotel?? (the same thing happened like a week or two ago). Whatever!!

That is cool. I have been trying to look for my brother for years. Still can't find him... he wasn't abducted though, just put up for adoption before I was born. I thought I found him last year but nope.. wasn't him. :(

One day perhaps.

Wow. How heartless of the father. I hope Karma got him. One of our VJ members found their son on FB too. They haven't met in person, yet, (that I know of) but they're starting to build a relationship through it.
