Ugh... morning everyone.. I'm so flipping exhausted this week Haven't worked out for 2 days, just can't pull myself out of bed, just lay there listening to NPR and hearing about monkeys in space

I DID find my DVD of all my pics & documents from when I left Canada. My awesome IT guy back at my old job in Canada burned all my data onto DVD's before I left work (had most of my pics etc. on my work computer), so I thought I had lost the back up, but found it while looking for hubby's SSN card last night I'm excited to dig out some of my old surf, skimming & snowboard pics for FB!

Apparently the character comes to breakfast during the summer when they have 4 or more guests there. We're going to be the only ones there this weekend though. She did say she'd talk to him. We have been thinking of going to the Playhouse though and seeing his show.

Our power went off today. This is normally annoying but especially since I had switched on the TV and guess what was on - An Officer and a Gentleman - which I haven't actually watched right through for who knows how long - so I thought, you know what - i'm going to sit here and watch this.

15 minutes or so in to it...zap...or non-zap as the case may be. Didn't come back on for over an hour or more.

I hear you about the hydro - electricity! (Sorry you missed your movie). I can count on one hand the number of times I lost power in my last apartment before I moved to the States - and that was in 7 years. Here, I lose track of how many times we lose power in a year. Our lines are buried underground but the ones feeding them aren't so we get storms, we lose power. We have good weather, we lose power. Joe says it is a lot better than when he lived further out in the country. They would lose power and go for days without it being restored. He thinks because it is so much better it is fine, I tell him he is crazy to think this is fine.

So all week Ethan and I have been painting different pictures and I have decided that our next home will need an extra room just so I can use it as a studio because cleaning paint off of a carpet isn't fun nor is walking on garbage bags and over pictures and brushes and paints.

Anyhoo here is one of the pictures we painted and I thought I would share...

I am attempting to do a series like this of eagles and the like. This is the first one and I kind of started to hate it in the end but I'll keep it for sentimental reasons.
