I find they suck battery power pretty fast.

Hmmm.. have to decide battery or electric :) Battery is more convenient for our application but i don't want a battery suck.

I know I am a little late for Carla's coffee.... :lol: But mmmmmm medium Timmies coffee double double and fruit explosion muffin this morning for breakfast while I ran my errands. Man I am going to miss Timmies coffee when (*knocks on wood) I move in September. :crying: I've made Timmies coffee before in my coffee maker and it doesn't taste the same, guess I am going to have to buy a Bunn coffee maker. So we went to see the new Star Trek movie this afternoon. The movie was pretty good- very 'adventurey' like the original Star Trek series. They did a pretty good job of getting actors to have some similarity to the original cast members (especially Spock) but the actors themselves did excellent jobs of copying the mannerisms and voice patterns of the originals. There was a little too much reliance on special effects (there always are these days in SciFi movies). We ended up sitting too close even though we were in the middle of the theatre and the fast action shots and angle cut aways ended up making me nauseous - getting carsick in a theatre! That definitely was a downer. I was feeling really lousy by the end of the movie and it was all I could do to drive home so I could lie down. So, if you go - sit at the back of the theatre. I actually think I would enjoy watching it more on TV, hehehe.

Ok, now we are off to Barnes and Noble for coffee - what we were going to do after the movie but I needed to get home and lie down instead.

I (L) Kris Allen, I had a feeling he would come back and win American Idol even though everyone favoured Adam Lambert. I didn't watch much of the American Idol episodes at all the past few seasons. I cannot wait to hear his first single! I cannot get "No Boundaries" from the finale out of my head, he has such a good voice. He is definitely one of my fav's as I have bought Kelly Clarkson's CD's and Carrie Underwood's as well.

I watch Am Idol periodically - I haven't seen a contestant on there where I would actually buy a CD though. I think Adam should have won, I would actually even consider buying a CD :o

So, everytime I see someone post the acronym, "nm" I always have to stop and think about what it means. For some crazy reason, I always want "nm" to be -no problem- or -don't mention it- even though I really know that "nm" = never mind. I don't know why I do that... guess my brain just can't wrap around that simple, simple, detail for some strange reason. LOL

I just had to laugh at myself for that one!!! :lol:
