yeah that is the one major thing I don't miss about being in a LDR, the Airport goodbyes.. although I kind of miss the airport hellos

I was just having a conversation about airports with a friend of mine and I realized... I've flown wayyy to much over the last 4 years. I can't wait to be a normal person where I don't have to pack up and go somewhere on a bimonthly basis!

OK, I know nothing about trees, plants, gardening (yet!) so please forgive my ignorance.

Our yard needs some major TLC and we haven't paid it much attention the last few years. We have a tonne of trees and squirrels in our yard, and I am wondering if all these little plants in the grass are soon-to-be trees planted by the squirrels??? Or are they just plain ol' weeds

What do you think? There are hundreds of these ALL over. Man is my back gonna break this summer taking care of all these!

Hiya all.. happy friday! Have a great trip Krikit... you travel so much you poor thing!!!

went to a former bosses place last night to have him go on and on about this new and awesome pyramid scheme he's into ... *sigh.. hubby & I came home laid in bed and said "run away fast.. post haste".. tee hee..

Who the heck wants a video phone anyway? Skype has pretty much become the videophone of tomorrow today..

Thanks guys. I'm supposed to be getting ready for the airport at the moment but I'm a terrible procrastinator. Besides.... I think it's only fair that I get to drink my coffee in peace before I start running around frantically throwing clothes into the suitcase.

Definitely little bitty oak trees. Don't bother trying to save them. Unless you're hoping for a forest.

That coffee is different, T-mix. Reminds me of that weird cartoon that I can't think of the name of. I think I'll pass.... I'm scared of sharp objects.

Yay for Tim Hortons!! On a side note.... just look at all the little nooks and crannies in that cup. I totally wouldn't buy it..... think of all the unmentionables which are going to get stuck in those nooks and blossom into disgusting molds that would make us sick if we could see them through a microscope. (Yes, I think of these things before I purchase anything. I like a straight surface for easy cleaning. I'm a germaphobe.)

Okay. I am shuffling off to Buffalo. Be good everyone, and take care. I would like to find you all in one piece when I return.

Thanks ladies!!! I knew it!!!! Those squirrels have been very busy! I think that's how they get planted, no? Man, I need a biology refresher course!

Trailmix, I can just mow over them right?? As much as I am for tree planting, looking outside I think I see about 500 hundred or so of them. That's a bit much
