I watched this documentary last night called Word Wars.. it focused on 4 guys who are obsessed with Scrabble and go to all the tournaments... it was quite entertaining actually... you can see it on Netflix watch instantly thing...

*************************

in other news.. today I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to try and find a shower dispenser.. the hubster has been begging for one :P... I noticed they had Christmas stuff about 75 percent off so I took a look and found set of Lenox Mini Sleigh Bell Ornaments.. they were regularly priced at 30 bucks but with 75% off they were about 7 or 8 bucks.. I hemmed and hawed but grabbed the 1 of the 2 boxes that were left and figured I would make my decision while I looked for the dispenser..

so I found the dispenser and I was standing there trying to decide if I was going to take the ornaments.. I couldn't decide if I bought them if I would keep them for myself or give them for a gift... finally I said screw it I am going to buy two of them and keep one and give the other one away.. so I headed back over to the Christmas section and low and behold someone had scooped the other one :crying:

these are the ones I got... looks like they are on sale for 15 bucks on the LEnnox site...

oh and as a side note.. they had Christmas Crackers there.. I also had seen them somewhere else too but I can't remember now...

Good Morning! Very icy day here in St. Louis. Lots of accidents. Gene left an hour later this morning, and I'm awaiting a call saying he's safely at work. I think he was a little hesitant to traverse the roads this morning in our new car! My Tai Chi class yesterday was awesome. I'm a little sore this morning. You mentioned Spirit, what kind of Tai Chi? I don't know what you mean. It's a Tai Chi class for Diabetes that I'm taking. One designed from a Dr. Lam in New Zealand. Here's the link for him and his programs.

He licenses instructors and there is one here in St. Louis. While I'm taking it for health reasons, I've always been interested in "balance" and "meditation", so I'm taking it more for whole body relaxation. The first class however was not very relaxing. Lots of moves require all your weight to be placed on one leg at a time, lots of stretching and proper breathing of course. My thighs were quivering at the end of class. We're going to be learning about 20 moves, out of hmm 119? Course ends the end of February and I'll miss a couple of classes.

Enjoy your day everyone!

That is the coolest thing I ever heard of Carlawarla.

I am going to send the link to a friend who has diabetes and really needs to get his blood circulating better.

Congrats on taking such great care of yourself.

Very windy with dark clouds here this morning. We're supposed to get a few thunderstorms today. I had to go and rescue all my plants already...... the ones I keep on some stands had blown over. Guess I should get started on the laundry. bleh
