You can! PLEASE DO!

I just like the jars. I mean my mom didn't even tell me she was giving it to me when I saw her last weekend. We stopped for gas and Ethan got out and starting lining up all the jars in front of me while I am pumping gas. I just stood there going: "What the hell dude?" He was so proud of himself too! "Look what I brought for you mom!"

OH WOW! RELISH! THANKS!!!!!

mmmm Chunky goodness

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Have you ever have someone give you an abundance of something? Like way too much...

My mom sent my son down with 8 jars of homemade relish. She keeps asking me if I have tried any... I don't like relish. :(

What am I going to do with 8 jars of relish? I am thinking about slowly emptying them into the trash and keeping the mason jars. :P

It reminds me of when my grandma died - I hate doilies more than the average person, I have a doily issue, I don't know where it stems from, I just find them tacky.

Well after my grandma died I got this HUGE box and inside it was all the doilies she made. I think she only knew how to crochet doilies because there were hundreds. I MEAN HUNDREDS! In all shapes and sizes.

Being the sentimental person I am, I kept this box of doilies and I have been dragging it around with me for the past 5 years. It was one of the biggest boxes during my move and when my husband lifted it he asked what was inside and I said: "Doilies" He just gave me this look.

Yes they're doilies, hundreds of doilies in all colours of the rainbow and no I won't get rid of them. :P

OMG, I can resurrect The Doilie Thread!!!!!!!!!:dance::dance:

And if I lived near you I'd take one of the bottles of relish off your hands. Bring them to work! Maybe some of your co-workers like relish.

My friends are coming down tomorrow for a visit! I can't wait to see them! My friend just moved back to Canada from Thailand and the last time I seen her was St. Pattys day three years ago and that entire night is a haze.

Congratulations! You're 'official', now!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
