yeah they are.. those pictures don't really do her paintings justice...

I want to buy one of her original paintings one day... I just loved how the colours kind of popped off the canvas

Marilyn, I loved those paintings! I remember when I worked on contract in Saskatchewan in 1979 there was an Arts Festival in the park. I fell in love with a painting of the Qu'appelle valley that made a very similar use of colour - autumn oranges and reds and Fall sky - but everything was so brilliant. It was the first original painting I ever bought and I still love it.

Why are you going to Myrtle Beach Em?

Fer a honeymoon... Awe.....

Hubby & I have only spent one night in a hotel after our church blessing (then I moved to the US), and we've travelled to see family on all our time off for about 2.5 years and never really taken a holiday. Last summer we were going to go back to Bar Harbor (where we met), but Hubby got called away to work in Brunei, so we had to cancel those plans. SO.. we decided that it was high time for a honeymoon and booked a cheap hotel room on the beach for 3 days and 4 nights..

I asked hubby what we were going to do on vacation yesterday and he said " 3 things.. sleep late, walk the beach and snuggle in bed".. :luv: He's a keeper.

:thumbs: Sounds good to me! Jared and I are going to the Dominican May 1st since we never went on any sort of honeymoon. Like many of us, we spend all our free time traveling to see our families.

Awww I love that! You're going to have so much fun, just finally being together and relaxing away from home! Sounds like you need a break too :luv:

Hey guys... I never really posted in here... but I was looking for a 'daily banter' and I guess this is it.... LET ME IN! HAHA!

well today is my first day back from Montreal... and i'd like to say that I officially have a cloud that floats over my head... no matter where I go, weather is always ****!!!!! I left for Montreal, it was cold and WINDY! Spoke with my mom back in TO, she was like 'yeah, we are wearing tshirts outside...blah'! and we checked PA weather while we were in MTL and saw it was 22C in PA... #######??? lol!

Now I wake up and it's pouring outside! HAHA! what gives?

I see you guys talking about a honeymoon... is this before moving over? I never though of that... like before the wedding so waiting for AP don't affect us...hmmmmm

Ok, so I am calling the moving co. today..... they want $2k US to move my stuff :( Trust me, I priced it out, called around....

And did I mention that I have to pay out my car before I leave? HAHA!

Ok, this is starting to sound like it belongs in 'The Vent' :blush: SORRY! Don't kick me out, I just got here!!! HAHA! I wanna hang with the cool kids!

Ok, off to the gym.... after 4 days of pastries in MTL lol! I'm really looking forward to my 4 shot Americano....mmmmm
