Krikit- You power-hungry monster!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Thanks for your support everyone. I agree with what some of you have said.... that cancer seems like it's more and more prevalent these days. It's a horrible disease.

Changed my name back to "DeadPoolX". I think it suits me better than "Sentinel."

Plus we were still calling you that, anyway.

I guess I cold change it to JustMarilyn

I like JustMarilyn!

just a funny observation - I did an online survey for one of the groups I belong to. It asked if I had a cell phone. I said yes. It then asked what I used the cell phone for and gave about 10 different things from texting messages to surfing the internet to downloading photos. It also had an 'other' category which is the one I checked. Of those 10 options listed not one of them was using the cellphone as a phone! So, that is what I itemized in 'other'. I talk on my cell phone - that is it, nothing fancy, nothing extra. I thought it was funny, though, that they had all these options listed except using it as a phone.

:blink::lol:

wow.. am I up first this am?

mmm breakfast...

Wow. Emancipation throws in breakfast when she serves coffee! Please pass the toast.

Krikit's got the power.. look up at the posted items in the Canada forum..

She scares me she has so much power :)

Excellent observational skills, E! You get a gold star. :star:

Today is a lovely day.... and I would like to keep it that way. I think it's a walking kind of day, it's so pretty out. Today, everything is sunshine and rainbows and I am now going to allow anyone or anything to change that. :)

OMG, I wrote "I am now going to allow" instead of "I am not going to allow"!

 Glad to hear you're having a good day Krik! It's beautiful out today too, I am going for a nice walk myself. It's so hard to be motivated to job search when it's this nice outside!

I'm being a ninja today at work. I'm trying to blend in while wearing clothes that aren't exactly in the employee manual as acceptable atire. Yes, I'm a workplace rebel for wearing a polo shirt and khakis.

I really hate wearing long sleeve dress shirts to work every day. So i'm trying this out. And if they tell me that I can't wear it and have to go home to change. Oh well :innocent:

So I just got a save the date card in the mail (well addressed to Glen but he told me to open it) for this girl's wedding in November.... but he told me he hasn't spoken to said girl in over 2 years, they went to college together and lost touch.... he has no clue how she got his address as they weren't even close friends.... my point is, would you invite someone to your wedding you haven't spoken to in 2 years? She's not on our guest list

I think so, she just wants a gift! When I called him I said "you got something in the mail from Geena" and he goes "who's Geena?" Then when I said her last name it jogged his memory and he's like, oh, we went to PSU together. I'm all why did she invite you to her wedding then!?
