My husband and I played scrabble for most of the day yesterday and now everytime someone says a 7 letter word I think of how many points that word could be on a triple word score.

Lots of points! LOTS!

I want to go home and play. :(

It's funny how scrabble is so addictive. We have always played, in my family, then for a while I used to play online and I came across this person who was rather good and we had many a competitive game.

My Husband does not like scrabble - I don't know why, he is a wordy kind of guy, just something about the game does not appeal to him at all.

I skyped with my family on New Years Eve, and my mom had my dad over with my brother and his girlfriend. I guess they had a game of scrabble. And the first thing my brother tells me on skype is that my mom challenged my dad's word, lost and then threw the scrabble dictionary at his head.

I miss the dysfunction :crying:

On another note, my mom was supposed to leave Edmonton at 6:40 and catch a flight from Seattle at 8:40 to Kona. Flight didn't leave Edmonton until 8:10, so she's missing her Kona flight as I write this. Not sure what she's gonna do now - perhaps they'll be nice and fly her into Hilo today. Wishful thinking? :innocent:
