It was weird, during my last trip, the POE officer asked me how we'd met and I said...on an online game, sort of like World of Warcraft but korean. Then the officer yelled a samurai war cry (or the equivalent) then let me through. It was VERY interesting to say the least. >_>

:lol::lol::lol:

My last last encounter with an airport officer was really pleasant. It turns out he used to work as an immigration officer at USCIS so he knew all about the visa process and its ins and outs. Except that he said it had been a while since he'd been there so he was asking me "Do they still.... blah blah blah?". He was fascinated by the fact that I received a greencard without an interview because they didn't do that while he was working there. Anyway, really nice guy. The nice ones sure do stand out after years and years of dealing with brutal ones. :lol:

Awwwww. Happy birthday, Mike!!!!!

Yesterday, I went to check out a rental house and the landlady, hugged me 3 times. I do not come from a huggy family. It was very awkward. I mean, she was nice and genuine, I think she's really needing to rent her house. :lol:

today should be an easy day for me... the 3 year old stayed overnight at his grandma's house and won't be back til later... he is a good kid but quite a handful...

the baby is sleeping right now so I hopped onto thier computer for a bit (which they said I could do if the kids were napping :P)

Yeah that would freak me out! So are you going to rent it?? If you see anything suitable for a family of 3 with 2 dogs, let me know (Sister and co move the end of June).

So the cake is made, it is a bit falling-apartish - not sure why - but hey with scratch cakes you get what you get - it is moist and delicious though! However I did burn my arm getting it out of the oven.

Maybe that's custom in Hawaii instead of the traditional handshake :unsure:
