Isn't it awful? They made me wish I had never been born. haha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Well she just clarified for me that the $409 does not have to be paid until we find a property we want appraised. I just had to clairify as it said 'appraisal and credit'.

This is her actual reply - I have found realtors here and this mortgage person to be SO unprofessional:

When you have a property, cant order appraisal without money. Thank you

Good morning all!

Lovely, sunny morning here in Florida, supposed to be 80 some degrees today and tomorrow apparently - so coffee on the beach is in order.

-23C this morn in Saskatoon, but the Timmies has made it worthwhile. havent won anything yet

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I saw 2 motorcyclists today not wearing helmets which I found to be dangerous and I thought illegal. So when I got home I googled it and if you're over the age of 21 and have been driving a motorcycle for over 2 years, you DON'T NEED TO WEAR A HELMET BY LAW!! (state of PA)

Wow...thats rediculous.

Good afternoon everyone.

I spent a wonderful day doing my taxes (blech) and then I went for my first wedding dress browse. I've been looking at stuff online, but unfortunately the dress shops here are so tiny I'm not sure I will find anything I like. May have to wait till I get to the states and do it then (though my mom wants to go with me dress shopping). Trying to figure out stuff for a wedding thats not going to be for over a year is kinda crazy, but its at least good to look. My major issue right now is whether we do the big one in the states or here in canada....cuz if we are going to do it here I have to start looking and venues and stuff before I move.

Today has been busy!

Mike and I had to help Ethan clean his room, and it literally took us almost two hours. Its not that it was super messy, there's just a lot of clutter and I was trying to get him to part with a lot of the stuff he no longer uses. Anyways he parted with a garbage bag full of stuff, kept all the stuff he loves, legos, tranformers, his stuffies (what he calls his stuffed animals) and most of his books of course.

Now his room is so nice and clean and it feels so much better and its ready for my mom's arrival next weekend.

Oh and revenue deposited all the money the owed me FINALLY into my bank account.

I'm just sitting here now trying the new Blue Moon seasonal.. Rising moon... its very tasty and I highly recommend it if you like that sort of thing.

Donne moi une poptart!

Yes there are some states where wearing a helmet is optional. I think Texas is one, but I can't remember. I just think that's ridiculous.

I think so too.... there was an article about it that stated it used to be the law, 2 years ago and they rescinded it. So ever since then, deaths of motorcyclists have increased by 66%. Hmmm doesn't that tell you something!?
