YAY!!!

Its going out to South Jersey magazine tomorrow after I just tweek two things for them.

I am super excited! I guess its a monthly, I have seen it on my inlaws coffee table but I'll have to get a few copies for myself somehow. :D

I have been looking at all the other ads in the area for Country Clubs and they are SO tacky! I mean they are bordering on sounding desperate. Its really bad, some of them look like car dealer ads. I think ours is going to top them all.

Thats awesome! Once its in print make sure theres a copy we can see!

Well, I got up from my computer after talking to ing direct and realized I have done zero housework today, I hadn't even put my coffee cup and cereal bowl in the dishwasher yet.

Which reminded me of working full time and trying to get house stuff done

Oh and ing will not offer us a mortgage because we do not have 2 years of credit history. Anyway, I have the RBC mortgage person emailing me the pre approval form and also the name of a real estate agent, so we shall see.

OK I don't know if anyone watches the Bachelor... but the next Bachelorette is named Jill, from Prince Albert.... All I could think about when I found out ABC chose her is the immigration aspect. Like if she gets engaged, will she do a fiancee or spousal visa? How will that work? It's the first Canadian bachelor/ette ever chosen.

That's too funny! Jill I was wondering the same thing. Does she live in Prince Albert now? I think I saw that it was Peace River, AB and her parents are in Kelowna, BC. I was thinking, she must have a work permit! And a work visa! That would be the only way she could go down there like that! I told my husband it was about time they had a Canadian Bachelor/Bachelorette, cause we're nicer! :P

Oh I think your right, Peace River! I don't know why I had PA on my mind, I knew it started with P. I think she lives in Vancouver now or something. But is she really working, so could it be a work visa? Isn't she there on pleasure? And I wonder if she gets paid to do the show, she must get some sort of remuneration so I guess that is working!! So many questions! And if she gets engaged, she'll have to go back to Canada and apply/wait like the rest of us!! haha

Yeah cause it's the woman's duty to move to be with the man huh?! ~giggles~ At least that's the way it seems on that show! It would be crazy great if the man moved up to Canada to be with her! :) I think that they must get paid to be on the tv show. Wouldn't you think so? At least the main person, maybe not the 25 that are there to try and win though.

Hey, I know this makes me a bit of a geek but I am fascinated by the silliest things sometimes! I was reading the news today and this is what I saw:

Vince Vaughn gets engaged to realtor

Upon further reading it turns out he's engaged to a realtor from CALGARY! :) I thought that was pretty neat.

Good morning all, nice coffee there Charles!

Em I hope you have a fabulous time - weather is nice!

I really like the bachelorette from Alberta, i'm not surprised they chose her!

So I received an email from the RBC mortgage person - a list of documents they want to see - and there are a TON of them - everything from the last 2 years T4's to driver's licenses, pay stubs etc etc etc.

I am absolutely sure I did not present this stuff for mortgages in Canada - I think a driver's license, SIN and pay stubs were all that were required. But anyway, I have emailed her back about the $409 dollars - surely they don't think I am going to pay money for a mortgage pre-approval??

Check for $409 appraisal and credit

Copy of your last 30 day period of pay stubs (if applicable)

Copy of checking and savings account statement for past two months

Copy of all pages of any investment statement (stocks, bonds, GIC’s, RSP’s, RRSP’s)

Copy of your two year’s T-4’s

Names and addresses of landlords for past two years

Names and addresses, account numbers, monthly payments and balances on all debts starting with current mortgage

Names, address, and phone number of your current employer

A copy of your real estate tax bill and homeowners insurance cover page on ALL real estate owned in Canada

Copy of Driver’s License and Passport

Copy of social insurance card and copy of social security card and green card

Proof of all down payment funds to source funds being used

Welcome to the hell that was Novemeber and December of 2008 haha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
