Hello and good late night to those still up.

I'm visiting with my longest bestest closest sweetest friend in Montreal.

She had some surgery and is in huge transition....leaving a relationship of seven years. Apparently there's a seven year wall she hit.

We have commiserated and cried and laughed and apartment hunted. I helped find her something really good.

I have been handing out Kleenex and hugs.

Intellectual-type strong thinkers that are super sensitive...well we have a most challenging time in this world. :P

Heavy duty emotional times...oi.

So tonight we watched and sang along: Mamma Mia.

How therapeutic!

It's been great visiting with her, and my parents and wonder-full brother....filling up on bagels and my favourite pizza.

It's a long boring drive from Chi-town and yet. with the right music, it's not too horrid. Hee, hee.

I wish so much there was no such thing as Winter and cold, and so...maybe these will be the last snowflakes I ever see.

Ha! I can dream....

Soul-Sisters are awesome and I love adopting them....one here and one in Vancouver. Lucky me.

We plan on a journey to Bali next year...just the three of us.

I just saw a commercial for "The Proposal" movie coming out in June with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock, this is what it's about:

A pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.

And in the commerical you see them in an interview with USCIS :lol:

Jill...I saw that too. It made me laugh SO hard! When they told her they were going to deport her she was like "But I'm CANADIAN!" :) I can't wait to see it. It will come out shortly before my birthday. I find it a little bit funny though that they're advertising so early. It's only February!

I also think it's kind of funny that Ryan Reynolds is the real Canadian!
