Ladies.. help me out here..

I recently switched when I take my BC pills.. I've always taken them in the morning.. like since I was 13, but recently I've been nauseated at supper, and I tried switching when I take my pills and that solved the problem.. but anther one has raised it's ugly head and that's fatigue.. I'm exhausted.. like can't get through until Supper. I don't want to do anything when I get home, just crawl into bed. I feel fine the rest of the day.. Could I have had fatigue all along, and it just be flipped now that I take the pill at a different time of day? Am I just a baby? this is so silly.. I had to switch brands of pills when I moved down here, but honestly been on these things since 13 and NEVER had a problem before. :(

Good morning all! I love coffee mugs with sayings. This one so fits me! First night in the new bed and I need a step stool I think in order to get up and in bed now! It seems so high! Didn't feel any "pea" under the mattress so I guess I'm not a real princess after all. ;)

Sprailenes, awesome about the tickets! I've seen Elton twice...once in 1972 and then again in 2002. Incredible show! Never seen Billy Joel, but the two together should be fabulous.

Marilyn, I hope the gas company calls you. Maybe it was put in the computer wrong and someone ELSE will be awaiting the gas man today. Ooops!

Gene's off tomorrow. I think we'll sleep in, and catch a matinee tomorrow!

Enjoy your weekend! (no, it's not Friday yet)

this morning hubby said he thought heard one of the neighborhoods talking to someone about a pilot light .. I did hear talking but I didn't pay attention to what they were saying

An observation from working in a country club...

We used to have really high dues and entrance fees and we're talking millionaire members. People would tell me that I would be dealing with a$$holes on a daily basis. But I came here and these were some of the nicest people I have ever met. Never had an issue with any of them.

Then we lowered our dues and entrance fees due to the economy and now the people who aren't as rich are coming in, they're still rich but not as much as the members before them, I would say upper middle class... well these guys... are the a$$holes.

Funny how that works.

I experienced the same thing when at Roy Thomson Hall, kind of. There was the regular bars, then the Lexus Lounge which was a private open bar for the people who had some serious money and donated it to the TSO. The guests in the lounge were always so much nicer than the regular patrons.

Maybe $$$ does buy class? Damn. I'm broke on both ends.

I think one group feels they need to act the part of something bigger.

The group that is already up there do not feel need to act like anything but themselves.

Thats what I think anyways.

Hmmmm.... are you taking them before bed? That might help. I used to get nausea and feel like ####### when I took them in the day, my doc suggested take them before bed. Then the side effects occur while you're sleeping, and when you awake they've (hopefully) worn off.

Yep.. I'm taking them in the evenings.. the symptoms I have are almost 20 hrs later.. right before I am ready to take a new pill.

Was just going to write that. If I forget to take mine and I take it the next morning, I feel gross all day long. If the risk wasn't getting preggers, I'd probably just not take it that am.

That's really odd.... Maybe they just don't agree with you, maybe you'll have to try another brand or discuss the issue with your doc.

Maybe the NuvaRing? The doctor seemed concerned that I had been on the BC for so long (13 too). And thinks its time for something else. I say why mess with success. But maybe my chance of being in that 1% is coming up. yikes.

E- How long have you been on the new BC pills? The symptoms should have worn off in 3 weeks at the most. That's what my doctor told me. There were some bc pills though that no matter when I took them, or how long we waited, I never got over the symptoms. I had to switch. I hope you get it worked out soon though. It sucks to have those kind of symptoms.

As for the fatigue, has anything else in your life changed since you started taking the pill at night? It could be something completely different, other than the pill. Just a thought.

When I had similar effects from my birth control pill, my doctor made me wait for FOUR MONTHS before he'd listen that the side effects weren't cool. He said it takes up to four months for side effects to wear off. >.< I ended up going to another doctor and got NuvaRing. Aside from some breakthrough bleeding, NuvaRing's been ideal for me so far.

March 13, 2009--Visa application handed to the post office.

March 16, 2009--Visa application received by Vermont Service Centre at 11:01 am. Let's hope that he actually put in everything he thought he did and they don't send it back to us!!

March 23, 2009--Got the whole package back. The cheque was apparently filled out incorrectly, thanks to the fact that his moronic flatmates helped him and instructed him wrong for the first cheque he ever filled out.

March 30, 2009--NOA1

August 12, 2009--Touched

September 1, 2009, received Package 1 from Montreal--but where is our NOA2???

What's NuvaRing? I took BC pills for years with no problem. But now that I'm older, I can't take any of them. It's always something no matter what brand I try. I had an IUD for a few years, but finally got rid of that because my periods were super, super heavy and I got tired of that. Right now we aren't really using anything besides condoms and luck. lol.
