Good morning all! I love coffee mugs with sayings. This one so fits me! First night in the new bed and I need a step stool I think in order to get up and in bed now! It seems so high! Didn't feel any "pea" under the mattress so I guess I'm not a real princess after all. ;)

Sprailenes, awesome about the tickets! I've seen Elton twice...once in 1972 and then again in 2002. Incredible show! Never seen Billy Joel, but the two together should be fabulous.

Marilyn, I hope the gas company calls you. Maybe it was put in the computer wrong and someone ELSE will be awaiting the gas man today. Ooops!

Gene's off tomorrow. I think we'll sleep in, and catch a matinee tomorrow!

Enjoy your weekend! (no, it's not Friday yet)

Lucky! The only thing exciting about my night is watching The Office.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Well if it makes you feel any better I will be missing survivor and I am kind of sad about it. :P

I didn't even know survivor is on again!

Nice about the new bed Carla :) We need a new bed too, as soon as we make a decision about where we are going to live, I don't want to buy a bed then decide to move back to Canada and have to haul another bed however many thousand miles!

Oh and I have a new computer! My Husband built it and windows is now loaded, also world of warcraft, of course!

It has a huge hard drive so I will amalgamate the files I have on my old PC and on this laptop and then sort through all of that. Anyway, it is spiffy :)

Fun times, I'll be watching the game! Anytime the Flyers are on, they are on in our living room. I just love the food at the games :D

Some days I am SO bored at my job. Today is one of those days!

On another note, someone at my job got sprayed by a skunk last night and came to work today and our whole office smells STRONGLY of skunk.

It's so nasty!

OK that's so gross! I think that's a really good reason to stay home, I'm sure the boss would understand. Tell them to go home and take a tomato juice bath

Okay, guys.... I'm gone again. My daughter and my cousin arrive in a couple of hours so I'm getting ready and heading off to the airport. See you next week!

Wheeee have fun!!

Have fun krikit!!

So Obama turns up in Canada - and the media starts making remarks like this:

Obama, America's first black president, was greeted upon his arrival in Canada by Michaelle Jean, Canada's first black Governor General

Now that just makes me shake my head.

I was just thinking, it's funny, I am setting up some SW on my computer and I just installed messenger, so have to reboot. Well that started windows update, it's on update 71 of 73

Just thinking of how a few years ago 73 updates would have taken a couple of days.
