Today is friday the 13th... my son was born on friday the 13th, in November but still. The day has a happy place in my heart and I am not superstitious.

Ahh last night was awesome, I haven't talked to my friend Shannon in months, we're so on and off because even though we live close together, we are far apart when it comes to how diffrent our lives really are. Anyways she called me lastnight and it was just so nice to hear her, and just talk to her. I'd thought she'd forgotten about me, and sadly she thought the same. But now everything is okay and no one forgot about anyone, we just forgot to pick up a phone once in a while and say hi.

So I am just really happy because when I moved down here, Shannon and I had all these "plans" and were so happy that we were going to be living closer to eachother, and then I move down and we rarely see one another... go figure. :P So we made a promise to hang out more and have no excuses not to see one another, which is nice.

MrsCat that video was too sad/funny.

I am still laughing and grimacing!:wacko:

Happy Lucky Friday the Thirteenth Every One!!

Crazy winds, crazy weather, crazy tornadoes, crazy plane crashes, ####### is goin' on?!

More stuff of biblical proportions?! Hee, hee! :P

And now for something completely different:

Pink Panties group in India...well international, I guess.

Where do I hear these things?

I'm listening to it right now on The Current on CBC radio on-line (Montreal station at the moment).

Check this out:

http://www.blogher.com/pink-panties-color-indian-vday

I haven't read this yet, I just googled pink panties India and got a lot of stuff.

Here's an exerpt:

It all started rather acrimoniously late last month when a group of Sri Ram Sene men attacked young women and men at a pub in the southern city of Mangalore, alleging such behavior was against "Indian culture" (You can find a piece of my mind at India Crumbs). The incident was, incidentally, shot on camera and broadcast on every channel. The national outrage and debate that followed became a bizarre mix of women's rights, Indian culture, the "misguided" Indian youth, westernization, pubs, obscenity, alcoholism, some arrests and local politics.

Last year we got tons of free stuff from Macys because of our wedding registry, anyways one of the things we got was a set heart shaped ramkins, I should make some chocolate lava cakes in them.

I almost forgot about them. Yay a use for something that's otherwise pretty useless!
