Hi Stiggy, I just wanted to ask you what you ment by this

"I just wish that this immigration process could be easier if you had proof showing that the courts granted mobility rights to another country and INS would accept it"

If you mean the courts already said you can take the kids to Florida then the Consulate in Montreal wont have a problem with it. I had a court order allowing me to take the kids and they never even asked about my ex.

So I've been invited to a bridal shower, and I'm confused by an insert in the envelope. So the bride has a registry at Taget and BB&B, cool. But the insert says "There will also be a well of wishes, so bring a small item for the new Mr. & Mrs" Is this a nice way of asking to bring $$ to the shower? So bring money AND a gift?

Give them half the money and inform them that "they'll get the rest after the job has been completed."

Oh wait... wrong board. Don't mind me.:innocent:

Was big news TWO years ago!! Was pretty cool!!

Edited by flames9

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Good morning all!

I had a dream that I was late for work so when I awoke this morning I jumped out of bed so fast I scared Mike.

Ahh and valentines is on Saturday... I can't wait! I love it. Its a day when us couples can rub our love in miserable single peoples faces. :P

Donne moi une poptart!

I don't buy a new pillow every six months, but I will tell you, I'm sleeping on the same goose down pillow I've had since I've been 7 years old!! That's wierd. However, at least once a year I take it in to be cleaned and get a new cover for it. They take the feathers out, clean them, and encase them in a new sleeve. I go everywhere with it, even travel with it. THIS is weird.
