Yesterday we went shopping and I got shtuff!!!!! :dance:

I needed some more Clinique makeup and it was bonus prezzie time! :dance: Bloomingdales had an amazing bonus gift this time. I was happy. :)

We also went to Ikea, where I was able to find some really nice plant pots for super super cheap, as well as 5 packs of my favourite dinner napkins. I ended up getting 3 pots, plus the napkins, for less than the price of one pot that I'd been pricing everywhere else. Yay for Ikea!

Oh! And I managed to drive right past the red light at the Krispy Kreme without stopping in. I'm going to give myself a pat on the back for that. *pat pat*

Our Journey

6 June 2008- Mailed I130 to Toronto (DCF)

7 Nov 2008- I130 approved in Toronto!!

21 Nov 2008- Received Packet 3 from Montreal

4 Jan 2009- Mailed Packet back

9 Feb 2009- Medical in Toronto

24 Apr 2009- Interview in Montreal...Approved!!!

30 Apr 2009- Received Visa... few hours later crossed to border for the 6 day drive to Utah!!

6 Apr 2009- Arrived at our new HOME!!

13 May 2009- Welcome letter received

19 May 2009- Went to social security office and "applied" for SSN

22 May 2009- SS Card arrived in mail!! (I guess they did send in the paperwork at the interview...)

My Dad went on the flip the other day when he saw you had a pic of Topo in your profile Trailmix :) He had a Topo doll, and it was passed onto me when I was younger :)

That pic is adorable :D

And MMMM for Mimosas :) I remember the look on my grandparents face when I ordered one at brunch just after my 19th birthday....priceless

5/14/09 - Received Biometrics appointment letter - Appointment is June 2nd.
6/2/09 - Biometrics at Raleigh field office - they were some of the nicest people :)
6/18/09 - EAD approved and card production ordered
6/20/09- received AP papers in the mail
6/22/09 EAD card arrived in the mail (that was fast eh?)
7/09/09 - received notice of GC appointment date
8/07/09 - Green Card interview at Raleigh Field office at 8:45am - Given RFE for I-693 Vaccination suppliment
9/08/09 - returned RFE to field office. Approved for Green Card
9/09/09 - Received email that Card production had been ordered.
9/17/09 - Green Card in the mail - No more USCIS until June, 2011 :D

ugh.. it keeps not letting me pick the seats on the plane for my family.. I could with the first ticket I messed up on but now it won't let me :(

hopefully they get to sit reasonably close to each other...

Radiohead is going to be on the grammys tonight. Not really a big fan of them post OK Computer but they're amazing live.

Wow!! I didn't even realize the grammys were tonight! I haven't seen one advertisement for it! I'm glad you mentioned it sprailenes. I like to watch it :)
