Hey guys I just noticed something...

Hot dogs come in packs of 8 down here! I JUST noticed this.. #######.

But ya... thats pretty cool. :P

What's the norm?

Hot dogs would always come in packs of 12.. the buns come in packs of 8.

I always used to think there was some sort of conspiracy there. :P

Ohhhh

I was just looking at it and it looks like American Airlines charges for checked bags :o $15 for the first one and $25 for the second one..

but I think my mom said they are just going to each bring a bag with a couple changes of clothes and do laundry when they are here...

Yep now a days best to travel light!!!!

I'm heading back to Saskatoon March 5-14. Dan airlines!! price yesterday afternoon was a ttl of $443, last night and now, its up to $515! I'm sure it will go down again. I know one article i read stated the best time to book a ticket was near midnight on a Tuesday, lol

Got a sweet deal on Ebay for two genuine canon black ink cartridges for my printer, saved $10!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

forget the shower today girls.. we're putting on perfume and facing the day

I love you. haha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Ahhhhhh!! Those kitties are so cute

Good morning all.

Nice deal on those cartridges Flames! Cartridges are so overpriced. I have only hooked my printer up once since we got here - I then promptly put it back in the tote - so I am saving ink

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I am spending the day facing winter by scrubing salt stains out of the carpet at work. They didn't like the look of them so I brought in some vinegar which worked like a charm but now they are complaining saying it smells like a french fry in here  men

Its the best thing ever to clean with though! No streaking, helps pull up stains. We have this air freshener at work though that we just got....anyone remember the play dough flower factory? How they scented the playdough with that stupid fake flowery scent? This air freshener smells JUST like that stuff.

Yaaaay!!! That's awesome, Marilyn. I'm so happy for you. :)

Oh.... and that's one of the many reasons I (L) Southwest. #1 they would never charge you a service fee for changing your flight. #2 they don't charge you anything for your luggage.... 1st bag up to 50 lbs $0.0.... 2nd bag up to 50 lbs..... $0.0. I recently booked a flight with them, found a better flight for less money so went into my account and edited the original, and now I have a credit with them for my next flight. Last year my cousin and her husband had tickets to come see me but had to cancel because her husband got called to jury duty and couldn't get out of it. They gave her a credit to be used within a year, which was fine. Except then her father came down with cancer, was having a house built, and then had to sell her old house and move into her new house. All this while holding down a demanding career and two toddlers. The last thing on her mind was using that credit. Anyway, the credit expired and she just didn't have any energy left to deal with it. I called Southwest and explained the situation to them, and they extended the credit. She'll be here in two weeks. Yeah. You just can't beat Southwest.

I'm heading back to Saskatoon March 5-14. Dan airlines!! price yesterday afternoon was a ttl of $443, last night and now, its up to $515! I'm sure it will go down again. I know one article i read stated the best time to book a ticket was near midnight on a Tuesday, lol

I'm sorry. Did you say Dan Airlines? Is he any relation to Ted?

It's also the best on fries.... MMMM lafleurs!!

Carlawarla was Canadian enough to ask for white vinegar when we were out at the pub last week. I'm like.... "What the heck, Carla? You're in Florida!"
