Hi everybody!

I already have interview scheduled for my K3 visa in Amman on Feb 2nd, my I-130 case was completed on Dec 16th, but unfortunately, its too late for NVC to schedule me interview in Januray, and I probably think that they gonna schedule me an interview in late february, now my question is can I change my K3 interview date to I-130 interview? how can I do that? can I do it now? or should I wait till NVC schedule my I-130 date?

I hope somebody can help me with this!

Thanks in advance!

Mohammed

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

this is the embassy response!

Your I-129F interview can be changed to I-130 interview on the same day and time if we received the I-130 file before your interview date. But most probably this will not happen since the National Visa Center will not give you an appointment before March or April. So it's up to you to proceed with the I-129F interview or wait your appointment for I-130.

so im depressed and i feel like i wasted so much time and money trying to do the I-130, i shouldve just sticked with the K3

If your I-130 case arrives at the Consulate even one day before the K3 interview, then a K3 visa cannot be issued. Just make sure they know the case is there and you'll be interviewed for CR1. Make sure you have all the vaccinations required for a CR1 visa.

yes it was completed at NVC yesterday, dec 16th

So the K-3 interview will be for CR-1, unless NVC schedules one sooner, which I doubt they will.

Well, you can just wait it out a few more months and then have the CR1 interview.. I know you said you really wanted to be able to have it with your feb interview date, but it's something to think about. Although, amman does like AP with the CR1. I dont think I have seen any long AP with the K3 out of Amman.

Thanks for posting their response though.

Good luck with whatever interview you choose to go through with

Inshallah, you will have the best outcome.

I was going by the bolded statement from Amman. His case is complete... so that means they have it at Amman already? oh.. i see, his interview isnt until feb...so Amman should have it by then

well there ya go MS3..dont be depressed..that makes sense, you SHOULD be able to switch the interviews.

I am afraid that the NVC is not goin to send the I-130 to the embassy in amman before my K3 interview on feb 2nd, i think its gonna be hard! but i always have hope :) inshallah it will happen, from the embassy response seems like they r done scheduling for jan and feb, so if they schedule me for interview in march, they r goin to send the file in feb and thats after my interview date
