The Russian president presence in Venezuela sure wrecked out plans and appointments, the few exits on their so-called interstate were blocked by military guards causing traffic backups for miles or is that kilometers.

Russians say Chavez doesn't have anything, but he did give them 4 billion bucks for there so-called military junk, and Cuba doesn't have anything, and our pentagon yawns. But I feel they are up to something, many good people in Venezuela don't like it, I don't like it. Chavez says he wants the Russians to help control drug traffic, like he cares about drug traffic, and the Russians call it a military exercise. This was done in the open, but what is being done behind closed doors. Believe that Brazil and Argentina are also involved.

Something is going on.

Feel it's more of a case of corruption than soccer and if Mexico joints that coalition, we will really be in deep trouble. But it seems we have some of that here as well. But their legal system sure likes the American buck, got their tribune system to expedite a case we had with them from 3 years to five minutes, by making a small deposit in one of their many Miami bank accounts. I felt very strongly our case was morally just.

I thought it was only a few ships with support vessels, not an entire fleet.

But they belong to a fleet. When our 7th fleet pulls into a foreign port it's not the entire fleet. Just some of them. The rest are somewhere else... including their home port.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Well, they are ships of war, not exactly cruise liners.
