I am a US citizen, and my son recently came over to visit as he always has, but this time he wanted to stay, he is 12. I filed the I-485, and the I-130 with all the other necessary paperwork. We filed it to the Chicago lockbox and it was recently transferred to the California service center. He recieved his EAD even though he is only 12, and his advance parole document to allow him to leave the US, he has also had his interveiw for his biometrics, does anybody know how long he approval will take???

Does anybody know if he will have another interview since he is a minor, I have had conflicting info about this, some say he will jsut get his green card others say he will have an interview. Has anybody else gone through this seperately.

If transferred to CSC you may not get an interview, I suspect in this case they are not trying to verify a bona fide marital relationship so will process it to a green-card. If the application remained at NBC and then transferred to your field office then an interview happens. Transfer to CSC does not guarantee an approval without an interview, tha adjudicator can always decide an interview is needed and send it to field office.

Your profile says "AOS Pending" yet you say you are a US Citizen, you may want to update profile to "Naturalization"
