More than 60days has passed by since i became permanent resident and the card returned by the post office and 40days of kept calling and checking the status twice a week the message was still the card returned as undeliverable. So. i made an infopass appointment on Dec. 03 and my schedule to the local office will be on Dec. 18(this coming Thursday) What will I do? Wait until the card to deliver and cancel the appointment? Or Go to the appointment and ask a stamp for my passport for my driver's license exam?

I got mailed from CRIS on Dec. 12, here is the message:

The last processing action taken on your case

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card mailed to applicant.

On December 11, 2008, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

But until now i haven't received the card. Help me please! Thank you very much and Happy Holidays!

I will have an infopass appointment this coming Thursday, Dec. 18...I decided not to cancel my infopass appointment, i'd still wait until tomorrow late afternonn and if GC will not deliver i will go to the Local Office near to my place.

My advice is, if you will not received any welcome letter or the GC after 30 days that you became permanent resident dont wait and just kept calling for re-deliver. Make an infopass appointment immediately. GOODLUCK and GOD Bless!
