I have become completely bored outta my mind since I got the first mena cookbooks done. (they should be on my doorstep on the 19th and I'll fedex them the next day ensha'allah). ANYWAY....

So I was curious if any of you would be interested in submitting your favorite recipes for a cookbook for next Christmas? I could start on it now and have it perfected and to everyone in plenty of time (unlike the rush on the last one).

I thought it could be ANY recipes from any culture as long as it was tried and true in your homes. WE could do one that is just desserts, or one for Holiday foods, or kids' favorites, or just whatever you all would like it to be.... Just a thought. Ponder it and let me know what you all think.

I can always place another order for more books but there is a minimum of 4 so if I get at least 4 orders, I can do it. The price is a little over 30 dollars per book if I only get 4 so if I can get an order for over 20, I think I can do them for 27 dollars again. I can always hold another book drive for a month and see how many orders we can get. If we get over 100 orders, they would be under 24 dollars per book!

Amal, why don't you ask a moderater to split the thread where you left off and then you can just do a new cookbook every year. I can give you more recipes if you remind which ones I already gave you, LOL.

U mean like cut the recipe off where I stopped taking down the recipes?? and start a new one? hmm that's an idea. I would like to do a cookbook every year. I think it would be really cool! I can always go thru and keep a journal of the recipes everybody has submitted so we know if it's a duplicate or not... but maaan that would be a lot of work lmao!
