Anyone get approvals for things without receiving emails?

I was just thinking, I happened to check our case status last night, and saw that 06/05/2006 a touch for EAD document, and also the approval message for the AP, but we never got sent an email to my email address. Do they email you saying you get an interview letter or does that just somehow appear?

08 JUN 2006.....AP document recieved :)

09 JUN 2006.....regular EAD approval

14 JUN 2006.....regular EAD recieved in mail

22 JUL 2006......AOS and EAD (?) touched...moving along maybe? :)

21 AUG 2006....Recieved interview letter!

26 SEP 2006.....INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!

26 SEP 2006.....APPROVED WITH FLYING COLORS!

05 OCT 2006....Welcome letter recieved

11 OCT 2006....THE CARD ARRIVES!!!!!!!!!!

15 SEP 2008.....Sent for removal of conditions

24 SEP 2008.....NOA for removal of conditions

10 MAR 2009....Transferred from VSC to CSC

22 MAY 2009.....REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS APPROVED!!!!!! :) Citizenship here we come!

There was no touch and no update online. The letter just appeared in the mail...

I think it's all very random. If you got 20 VJ people into a room and asked all them their experiences with the USCIS online -- every story would (probably) be different. For as much as I love to get "touched" -- running home to the mailbox is much more fulfilling

04/01/08 - Sent to Nebraska

04/03/08 - NOA1 Notice Date -- Trans to California

04/14/08 - Received NOA1 in mail

04/14/08 - Check cleared bank

04/24/08 - Biometrics letter received

05/02/08 - Biometrics scheduled

10/10/08 - Card Ordered

10/16/08 - Card received -- DONE!!!
