REading about how some kids might not get a great holiday present wise (I'm sure the love in the house will make up for that), I was wondering is it too late to donate toys? I'd love to buy some toys via Amazon and have it shipped to some of the kids in mena here. I'm sure others would do the same for other regional forums but is it too late? What do you all think?

I think that is an awesome idea. I have a bunch of toys that were never played with that I could donate. Sign me up. If I can help any family have a better Christmas, I'm all over it!

speaking of this subject...if anyone lives near me and would like to come to my apartment and sift thru the toys before Christmas...pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease do so. Just let me know and we can schedule a time to meet there. We will be moving our stuff out of it (house or not) sometime before January 1st so come grab what he didn't want. I can't afford to store it all and there is quite a bit left there.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Am I a grinch because I'm not buying anyting for Taleen? :unsure: I just feel weird about wrapping a gift, putting it under the tree, and then opening it myself. Besides, EVERYDAY is Christmas for her. :blush:

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

No, I don't think so. I just think she loves the lights and sounds of Christmas - at least that is what I always noticed with babies. :star::thumbs:

I'm with ya JP...:P I have already opened 2 toys I ordered for the twins and *cough* we are all playing with them currently...:P OMG, we are so bad. (F)
