You should get your case # by now. If you don't hear it in AVR, talk to live operator and provide them with your USCIS receipt # to get NVC case #.

I am going to call them now. Wish me luck :thumbs: .

Generate IV Bill- 12/18/08

awesome guys! i will be pulling these threads after we are approved to see how you did it :) I need to correct my husbands address with the consulate before they mail the packet to him, so i want our case number asap.

im glad you guys are cooking along :D

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
