Scorpio68 told you that a few months ago and you couldn't believe the time it has taken him.

I am sorry no offense to you but i refuse to accept that after all we have gone trough that we now have to wait 4 to 6 months just for an interview. That is unacceptable. I have been living apart from my husband for years now, my daughter is growing up without her father.

I hope you are right. I have been waiting since June 2007 and we are just praying we get a Feb. date. I understand how awful it is to be so close, yet so far away.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay,

I am going home for Valentine's Day. Happy medium. This way even if his interview is a after that i would have his paperwork/evidence well prepared. Plus, i get to spend Valentine's Day with my husband. We both deserve it. It will be the honeymoon i didn't really have cause i am not taking our daughter so that we can have some time together just us. Aww but i am going to miss her. No, i will take her. We deserve a vacation as a family. So me and her are going.

My case was over two weeks ago]. There is only so much time to do interviews. They are running behind on the scheduling and it is only the Embassy that does this. I know it is not easy for them. Every week-day there is a line in front of the Embassy of two to three hundred people. Every day!!!

So I can understand our frustration. I can also understand the Embassy. Be patient at this point. It is very close, as compared to the wait at the service center.

Still waiting for an interview. Interviews in China are assigned by the embassy and can take up to 4 months due to customs delays in receiving the paperwork. I am on month 2 now and am hoping for an end of January interview but it will most likely be Febuary. Stuck in another black hole!:angry::angry:

D*mn! I just talked to NVC. They said no interview date yet, and they have completed scheduling for January. So I'm not sure if that is for all embassies, or just Bangkok. Looks like February now. Bummer.

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

I cannot explain how i feel. I want to scream cause i am so tired. I married my husband because i love him. I just feel like this whole process is so unfair and then to top all of that off, you can wait all that time and they can say that they will not grant you a visa. Why do i have to ask someone else's permission to live with my husband. My daughter does not deserve this, we have spent so much time apart already.

Thank you Sasha,

I am going home to spend Valentine's Day with my husband anyway. I do not have the stomach to spend another special day away from him. I just don't. Plus he misses me, i can hear it in his voice, he is just as lonely as i am and i wont let him be alone on such a day another year.

I agree with you this process drivers you to do what you must to keep your relationship going. In less than 2 months you will be in Guyana. I am doing this for you :dance: I am going to hold out praying that something will change before our second anniversary...if not I will be flying south myself. We are all in this together and I know that we are keeping each other in our prayers that this journey will come to an end very soon.
