how to cancel k3 interview in chennai india

halloo...

my wife recvd interview call for K3 visa in chennai..but we dont want to follow k3 visa how can i cancel the interview

our i130 is processing in NVC...(paid $70 and mailing AOS form)

so we want to follow I130

is there any email in chennai consulate we can email them..saying we want I130 insted of K3 ..and cancel K3 visa interview(jan 20)

I guess it depends on when you're K-3 interview is. If it's going to be soon and you know that youre CR-1 case at NVC won't be complete, you can probably try to postpone the interview. If you cancel the interview, you will need to wait for the NVC to schedule the interview which could be later than what you already have schedule. If you have some time, like a month or so until your interview, you're probably better off keeping the date and waiting for NVC to complete the CR-1 package.

You don't cancel it you get it re-scheduled, if and when the CR-1 makes it to consulate you then request the K-3 interview be switched to the CR-1.

Try calling DOS Visa services in the USA. http://travel.state.gov/about/info/info_308.html#visa

Then try calling consulate, http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/vfs-contact.html
