ok what now that my fiancee is about to lose his job.... he possibly lose his job this friday. :crying:

I guess it depends on whether a letter from his employer is required in your Packet 3 and whether he already obtained that letter or not... if not, he's probably going to need a co-sponsor. (There is A LOT of info on this site about co-sponsors, so be sure to run a search about it before asking people to repeat it here....)

You really need to do some research first.. I see now why lots of people get tricked by the lawyers.. it's because you don't even know what you are applying for and how to apply.. take some time to read everything and understand.. lots of stuff in the guides (and they try to make it easier than looking up info by yourself)..

Getting a expidite based on your pregancy is very easy acually. I did it for my wife. Send me a pm and be willing to pay me 1 billion dollars US and I will tell you how to do it.:yes::hehe:

All joking aside, all it takes is one email to the NVC and your expidited but I think the process is different for a *caugh* K1 then CR1.

Special case maybe? there have been MANY on VJ who were pregnant and couldnt expidite. Lets also remember its at the NVC, she would need to speak to the consulat for an expidited interview. Do not fill her with high hopes. Just bc YOU were able to do it, whatever the situation, doesnt mean she can. and NO expiditing bc of pregnancy is NOT an easy thing.

Can I know on what grounds you requested your Expedite request ????????????? If UCIS approved your Expedite based on the reasons(?) you gave them, then I see no reason what so ever that NVC will reject your expedite if you were to send it to NVC and I'm certain that NVC, the embassy overseas all will have a copy of your Expedite request letter attached in your file. But it will cost you nothing to send a copy of your expedite request letter to NVC again although I can guarantee you that a copy will be attached in all of your case file from One location to the other all the way to the embassy overseas

yeah i know most of what u have said, thank u guys anyway.

I was just advised by some members here to give it a try cos the USCIS granted my speed up letter. I am an august filer and I got the first among the three filers who got fist approvals.

Is it the NVC that designates interview appointment to a particular case then notify the embassy about it?

I know this is a shallow reason to expedite a case, but what i'm after is the early interview appointment atleast prior to my delivery or so that i can get to the U.S. before airlines wont allow me to board.

thanks guys!

God bless u more and pls more replies!~

thank u

Just bc they were the first of 3 on VJ to get an approval is not an expidite. and USCIS wouldnt have expidited for pregnancy just bc she doesnt wanna fly in her 8th month. her timeline says: Your I-129f was approved in 116 days from your filing date....thats not expidited, thats about normal time.

Hey guys,

Pls someone shout me what to do next after the NOA2. we recieved the notification on email and the uscis site, do we have to call the NVC?

We are planning to send a letter to the NVC to atleast try to expedite or give us an early interview appointment date becos I'm pregnant, I know it's a very shallow reason but just to give it a try.... there's no harm in trying tho~

pls tell me what to do. i'm 5 months pregnant getting 6 by the end of the month.

thanks a lot.

looking forward to ur response.

:help:

I don't think the embassy will give you special treatment just becoz you're preggy. You can still fly even when you are 7 months preggy(depends on the airlines) as long as you can provide a certification that you are healthy.I did travel back to the Philippines wheni was 7 months preggy and brought back my son here in the US at 7 weeks old. Good Luck and Congrats!

I am pregnant as well and my lawyer has requested expedited handling from NVC because of that (our case arrived and left NVC in two days). Also, when our file arrives at the embassy she plans to ask for an expedited interview.

By the way, it is not a shallow reason to ask for an expedite. It is very stressful thinking about travelling towards the end of your pregnancy, especially when many airlines will not allow women to fly after the 7th month.

Ask NVC for an expedite, and once it gets to the embassy ask for an expedite from them as well. You can't ask them before your file arrives there, but once it does go for it.

Congrats on the baby and good luck with everything!
