We have moved since I have got the green card. Will this make this process longer or harder?

I am filling out I-751, and I marked Yes on number 9 as we have moved this year to a new apartment. I explained on a separte paper with the old address and the dates. I am wondering why this is listed with other questions such as arresting...and I am a little worried whether moving to a new address will make this process harder... Any thoughts?

I wouldn't expect it should make anything harder. We're (GC holders) supposed to update USCIS when we move. Did you complete AR-11 when you moved? We did one online just after we changed address. I'd image they keep a record of where we've lived attached or linked somehow to our file so we get our mail and everything else sent to the correct location.

Thanks. I didn't complete AR-11. I hope there is no penalty for it...

You should really do the AR-11 if you haven't done it yet. It's required for all US Residents even if they don't have any pending application. Try to do it before you sent the i-751, because myself and others have had some issues when you submit a change of address during the application process, things like sending you mail to previous address eventhough you have a confirmation number that you did do the "change of Address". Good luck

Oh but it would not make it harder if you do it before you submit the application. So don't worry about doing it now

Same situation.

We moved on Oct 07. I forgot to fill out AR-11 until April 08. In my case, i just attach an explanation; told them I didnt know which is true. No penalty for me

And then we filed I-751 with our new address in August 08.... process went smooth so far and I just got my approval Dec 08

We received my NOA and biometrics appointment mailed to our new address ..no problem.

You have nothing to worry about.

Just dont forget to fill out AR-11 and also for your USC spouse too (I think you have to mail those ). But if you are the non-USC, you can update it online.

Yeah, it won't be bad. Just file your AR 11 and make sure once you have the confirmation # (If you filed it online) to attach it along with the papers you're filing (Removal of conditions) to prove that you filed and henceforth moved. It won't be difficult to do things before filing. If you have filed and haven't done the AR-11 that's when it gets kinda messy. Still things can be avoided so file it now before you send your I-751 papers. Goodluck! God Bless!
