I received my approval this afternoon. It was touched in the morning and then approved in the afternoon. I received e-mails and the status on the website also changed.

Congrats, welcome to nvc it will be quicker here. Glad to see vsc trying to do the right thing and approve all those that have been waiting for so long. Come on vsc there's still more march filers needing approvals.

Hi how is your case going so far??? My case was sent to my home country on the 17th and I called the US Embassy and they don't have it yet. Do you have any new info on yours. I was also told that I have to wait on package 3 and not send any infomation before. I pray that you have made more progress than I have.

Hello all,

Since we are all going with K-3, please help eachother here during the rest of K-3 process. We got our both aproval for CR1 and K-3 on the Dec 2nd. We'll go with K-3. I've called the US Embassy in my country (Turkey), they haven't received our K-3 file yet. Now we are assembling all the documents are needed.

Because we are going with K-3, my husband will not do anything in the state. I'll do all the paperwork here.

The documents that my husband will send me are below.. please let me know if anything is missing or wrong...Thanks!!

completed and signed the original form I-134, Affidavit of Support (notarized)

2007 W-2

2007 tax returns

bank and other financial statements.. (because my husband's income is above powertyline we don't need these)

3 most recent pay stubs (is this necessary???)

pay rolls (is this necessary???)

Signed letter from my husband's employer.. listing his job title, start date, salary, the status (full time) of his position.

I've also emailed to the embassy in Ankara regarding this topic..When they email me back, I'll let you know..

Let me start. I got approved last Thursday for both I-129F and I-130. I am waiting for NVC to assign the case numbers for both, forward the I-129F/K-3 package to the Consulate and for them to generate the DS-3032 and Affidavit of Support Review Bill.

So tommorrow, I am hoping to find out 1) Case numbers for both I-130/CR-1 package and I-129F/K-3 package 2) Receive news that K-3 package is sent to Consulate.

I will post all development for both processes here. There is also a forum for Nov/Dec I-130 approvals to which I will/we should post to.

K-3 package was sent by wife on Thursday, was accepted at Consulate on Friday. So I know it's there. I hope to get confirmation from them on Monday that they received it and are processing it.

Just paid the AOS fee and mailed the DS3032 i guess i'm on my way to the final lap!

Do we have to wait for the mail? Because all the forms are on the embassy's website.. As soon as the embassy receives the K-3 file we can send all the documents to them... Is this right??? please someone help!!!

No, I guess the embassy in Trinidad make you wait on them. I was told I could not send any info before they sent me the package 3. And I tried to make an appointment for a medical and was told the the US Embassy have to give me an interview date first before I could do my medical. I am not letting anything or anyone get at me, I just keep think in 2 months I will be with my Husband!!!!!

Call your embassy and find out everyone is different. I know that in Trinidad I was told to wait on them...

Still waiting for confirmation from Mumbai consulate that the received our K-3 response package and have assigned an interview date. I think it has to do with them clearing the backlog from being closed for the Xmas holiday.

Sanket - Call the Dept. of State (Dept. of State @ 202-663-1225, then dial Option 1 for visa services, & then 0 to speak to a specialist.) and ask if they have received your Packet 3 and have assigned an interview date. They should be able to tell you. Give your NVC Case #.

I was told yesterday that they mailed out my package 3 before christmas and i should get it anyday I am so excited!!!!!!

So tell me after they recieve you package is that when they set up the interview date???
