She should have filed divorce there..I have had few friends that was married in the philippines and filed while they're residing there and was approved..In order for a divorce to take place in Hong Kong at least one of the two parties must be a resident in Hong Kong. Ordinarily residence of three months will meet this requirement. And in my own opinion this pinay really is in a deep creek of trouble...

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

If I'm reading this correctly, there is no mention of her obtaining an anullment or divorce of her marriage in the Philippines. that would be her biggest problem.

not a paddle big enough to get her out of this mess. guess we'll have to wait for the OP to respond if she was free to marry or not at the time of her marriage in Hong Kong...

THIS IS REALLY WHAT IM TRYING TO PORTRAIT...SHE DIDN'T CARE TO ACQUIRE AN ANNULMENT NOR DIVORCE FOR HER FIRST MARRIAGE IN THE PHILIPPINES BEFORE SHE ENTER INTO A SECOND MARRIAGE THEN ALL SHE THINKS....THE AOS PROCESS WILL BE HELD HERE IN HONGKONG SO THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO HIDE HER TRUE MARITAL STATUS IN THE PHILIPPINES...SHE DONT HAVE ANY IDEA THAT THE US EMBASSY WAS UNDER STATUS VERIFICATION BEFORE ISSUING A VISA TO ANY FOREIGN NATIONALS....SHE USED HER OWN KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT BUT DI SYA NAKALUSOT....
