NO touches and NO approvals for the week of Dec. 15th

Hello! I have not gotten any touches since August. How long into the process did you all wait for touches. Our 5 month mark is coming up in a few weeks. Any idea whywe are not getting any touches?

hi everyone, i hope u r doing well, i just hav a quick question if anyone may help , do they still work on weekends ?????

i heard they r going to hav thursday and friday off next week so lets hope it will motivate them to work harder during the rest of next week days, anyway keep posting guys and pray for all of us to be approved, it is worse than dealing with any kind of administration in any country of the 3th world as they call it , at least there u can tip someone to get information or to get wt u need faster :devil: ;)

I don't know...my application was once updated on a Saturday. Not sure if it was a computer glitch. It's the only time I've ever gotten a touch on my application.

I've come to realize that touches mean absolutely nothing. Just like the timelines and everything else that VSC tells us. So don't put any value on any of it.

Oh, how I wish we were in a third world country where bribes would work! I would have had my husband here without even filing the damn application LOL I would've paid them off so nice!

I am back. I didn't get more than one touch for each one of the files, back in may. nothing since then. next touch was on december 15th, after the approval-dec 13rd. probably when they sent case to NVC and hard copy NOA2 (which we didnt get yet, btw). so dont get discouraged if u don't see any touches.

as for the working days at USCIS, I don't know but we asked at NVC, and they said they have thursday and friday free, plus the weekend. another thing is that yes, NOA2 is a bless, but even if USCIS is working between Christmas and New Year, and they approve files, post doesnt work normal at that time, at NVC things wont really move. so will just have the NOA2 and get stuck somewhere else in betweem until after New Year, so I think NOA2 next week or in first week of january will make just a psychological difference, not a difference time wise for the process. I know because since NOA2 we only got the NVC number, and we dont have high expectations in DS-3032 to be generated this year. same thing with the K3 package. yes, theyd send it to consulate, but I am sure embasy here will be on break during holidays, so nothing would realy happen. I was just saying to point out is no reason to be unpatient now, things will realy start to move after New Year.
