Hi guys,

I am trying to print out our skype records for my fiance's interview because that is the main way that we communicate each day but I am having a problem. Does anyone know how to use print screen to paste my call history from skype into word so I can print it? Has anyone done this before? I just need to print out the call history basically so if anyone knows how to do this at all please please let me know I need to send this to him this week! Thanks everyone,

Sarah

If you go to History, make it full screen, hit your Print Screen button and paste it into a Word document, it should work. Might take a view of these to get the whole history though.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much Helen for replying- I have tried that but I can never get it to paste. I'll try it again though when I get home and see if that works. Thanks!

When you have Skype open and as the active window, hit alt plus print screen. That will screenshot whatever is the active window. Dunno if that will address the issues you're having or not, but I thought it might help!

We swear by Skype too, use it daily. I'm not sure how much of the records from it we'll rely on as evidence - but its nice to have some way to document the conversations. :)

I still need help! I can't get it to paste on word, when I do print screen and paste it's just another document that gets pasted not our call history in word. Then I tried it in paint but I don't know how to paste something in there. Anyone?

Thanks!

I'm getting pretty frustrated I can't figure out how to do this! I hate computers... does anyone know for sure if this should work on paint as a jpeg and if so how I paste it?

Sarah,

Have you tried Ctrl C and Ctrl V for your copying and pasting? I know this is a stupid question, but something when I right click I get nothing when I go to paste, but if I use Ctrl V it works.

No, u have to first click the ''print screen'' button on your keyboard, not the ctrl+c, that will copy the text or whatever is you have selected. You have to open your history, click f11 to maximize the screen, then u hit the button on your keyboard called ''print screen'' and then u open an image program paint, adobe photoshop or whatever and click paste or u can click ctrl+v

Trust me it has to work.

Edit: if u insist in using Word u can do the same, but instead of opening a image program u paste on Microsoft Word. It'll paste like an image, u will save the file like a .doc

I prefer to save on a image program, that way u can save as a .jpg, .bmp
