That's how long it took VSC to approve my application to remove conditions. I was starting to get really worried about it because my green card expires early in January and I hadn't heard anything yet... but the USCIS website says that I was appoved on December 11th 2008! Hooray! Now I just have to wait for the letter, and then the actual card itself.

Hi Kajikit,

:star: Congratulations, Kajikit for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 12 months / 1 year wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Kajikit!

Good luck too on your Citizenship application and the rest of your immigration journey!
