Hi all.

I want to ask you a question about my status case. I'm trying to see my husband AOS & EAD cases online and always getting this message:

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

•Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again.

If you need further assistance,

you can either call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283, or you can send an e-mail to uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov.

We had Biometrics done on 11/18/08 and since then didn't hear anything. Can you tell me what this mean and what we can do about this?

Thank you

This could mean that case is not yet available online or you are using wrong receipt #. Since you are in CSC receipt should start with "WAC", i have read somewhere here that some people were adding 000 at the end for example WACxxxxxxxxxxx000.(I think it was at the end) Locate receipt # on the BIO appt letter.

In our case the recite starts with MSCXXXXXXXXX and no 000 in the end, with WAC was the number in our K1 visa before interview for Visa

Validation Error(s)

Can you tell me what this mean and what we can do about this?

Thank you

That means that CRIS (Customer Relationship Information System) used by USCIS is worthless and it doesn't work most of the time for majority of petitioners/customers.

Nothing can be done about that.

You are welcome

I think they warn you on the site that updates aren't really kept up, other than once everything is finalized they'll have that, but you'll know so the online info won't matter. The guideline is to check with their timelines and if your case is taking much longer then there may be cause for concern... Otherwise, just wait it out!

My Online Case Status for K1 visa has come up with a "validation error" since day one and we are now at 100 days!!!! I got the "could take up to two months line," and I even got a letter in the mail from USCIS saying they IT department was looking into it, but nothing has ever changed. To put my nerves at ease about once a month I call USCIS and they look me up by name, find my case, assure me that the Online Case Status has no bearing whatsoever on my case and that I am in the system and will be processed. That's probably the same for all of you with similar problems, but I'd at least call and find out that they can locate you in the computer by name. When you call USCIS and get the automated system, just type the number for "don't have or lost case number" and that will get you to an operator, you then need to speak to a supervisor/hire up person which you can do by asking to after giving basic info to the first person you speak with.

Good luck to all!!!

My I-485 and I-765 were available online the day after my biometric appt. How come the person that you talked with last Friday doesn't have an access to your file? I called USCIS twice last week to ask about the status of my applications. The first representative transfered me to another department that deals with our concerns. The reperesentative told me that everything is fine, except my case is not available online yet. However, as I said my AOS and EAD became available the day after my biometric appt. If still, your cases are not available online I rather call them quite sometimes to get an idea about the status of your cases. By doing this, atleast you are quite updated about your spplications. I do still have cases which are not available online and these are I-131 and I-130. I'm going to bother calling them this week to inquire about my status regarding those two cases. Don't really rely on their online updates, some cases were updated on timely manner but some were not. some people got approved even their cases are not availale online. Good Luck to you and Wishing you happy holidays ...Marry Christmas to your family!!!!

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Hi i received an email yesterday from CRIS stating that "Card Production was ordered".Today i got another email saying that "Approval Notice Sent".Does this mean that my GC has been mailed?.Thanks

"Card Production Ordered" means that they ordered the card to be made. Not sent out, they just asked for it to be created. It takes a few days to produce a card. Once it's produced, it's mailed to you.

"Approval Notice Sent" means that the card was made and they mailed it out to you. You should get it about 3-6 days after the date of Approval Notice Sent, depending on where you live.
