Why coming from you that means so much, the resident expert of meaningless drivel!

These things would stop if the US government would start doing a better job enforcing immigration laws. :star:

Your ignorance is exceeded only by your lack of reading comprehension skills.

So sad (F)

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn said she was "horrified to learn that anti-LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual) and anti-Latino slurs were used by one or more of the assailants, raising this event to the level of a hate crime."

Is killing someone without using a slur not a hate crime too?

The simple point is if the laws on illegal immigration were enforced to begin with, then maybe just maybe you would not have so many people out here trying to take the law in their own hands and doing harmful crimes to innocent people since the Government has failed at enforcing the immigration laws, thus many citizens become upset and angry about it and commit crimes like this for no reason other than they are truly upset over this whole illegal immigration problem which in this case innocents suffer. But NO I can see that never enters anyone's mind here at all. It is break the laws of US immigration and so what act like no one will care or fight back or never mind if there are negative reactions to this behavior. And then blame people for fighting back out of frustration. Lot of these problems are a direct result of years of the US government turning it's head the other way and allowing this resentment and phobia to build up among citizens. Thus all of us and the US government are partly to blame for this behavior then we all get on here and post and wonder why it happens.

Let's see...

Two brother head home from a party and get attacked for being homos.

What were these two brothers doing, that identified them as homos?

Is it possible these two guys... like anyone else coming home from a party might have been a little drunk... they got into a altercation which had nothing to do with being homos and after the fact... they are trying to bring that into the case to

- make them look like a victim, rather than a willing party.

or

- Add more charges to the offenders, if indeed the homos were just random victims of street thuggery.

If these two were not brothers one would expect they might be holding hands etc which would advertise them as being gay, since this was not the case.... how would anyone know?

Pretty irrelevant. Stick to the basics- hate crimes deal with motivation to commit a crime based on X or Y factors that identify intended victims.

And '**' talk is quite telling about the kind of stupidity that leads some idiots to perform precisely what this thread is discussing...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Thanks again for your "contribution" Hal.

Addressing the points would be sweet. ( I think the charge MIght be bogus)

Completely understand the point, Danno. Your particular example is irrelevant because the frivolity of the charge would be quite easy to spot by anyone trained in the finer arts of the executive and judicial systems.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
