Is there anybody out there who has been through transvaginal ultrasound? How does it feel?

How about curettage?

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Transvaginal ultrasound is not bad. The doctor just sticks a ####### shaped ultrasound thingy (covered with a condom) in your ####### and moves it around for a bit while pressing down on your belly with his/her hands. It's not the most pleasant thing in the world, given you are on a gyn chair with your legs up, but it's ok. It doesn't hurt and you can watch your ovaries on the screen.

Hope you are ok!

Thanks.. The transducer probe thing scares me. I guess, I am ok..

Let me know of any 'other' experiences you have with the #######. OKAY?

What "OTHER" experiences are you talking about?

Yes to the former,

no to the latter,

It just feels like a plastic wand in your #######......nothing exotic about it...lol

I've had probably a dozen trans-vag ultra-sounds over the years. Its no big deal, and its actually less painful than the full bladder portion of the ultra-sound IMO, and it is more acurate in what they can see. You'll have to have 2 technicians in the room with you of course, the second one is there to ensure the first one is doing what they're supposed to be doing, and not anything else. If you follow.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

Thanks. Reading articles in the net just makes me nervous.

Really, it's not painful and they are done with it in a few minutes :)

Reading the word "probe" really scares me.. I was working for an engineering firm (instrumentations) before so I could picture a "mechanical probe" inside my mind.

It is actually no big deal. I had to have one (30 minutes) to see if I had a problem with cysts on the ovaries. When I recently became pregnant they used it to diagnose my pregnancy - they actually do that to many women as it is easier to see if a woman is really pregnant in the beginning and to pick up a baby's heartbeat.

Don't worry, you'll be fine.

Yeah u'll be fine it's none to scare of I've done it like 4x and it's no big deal. It's only a small tube that have camera on its tip and you'll feel little pressure though especially when they want to capture best angle of your cyst or myoma. About Curettage it's not a long procedure and not that painful one. There's a pain reliever that they will inject so your lower part body would be numb in an hour. After the operation and the reliever took off you'll feel some kind of pain like what we are experiencing during our period. You'll be fine just do and drink whatever your doctor will prescribe.
