My lil bro's visa expired like 6 months ago... its a B1/B2 visa laser (mexican crossing card)

My mom is kinda worried because she's currently not working and my dad passed away on june this year.. so economically speaking.. the only income is dad's life insurance...

My aunt (dad's sister) is an american citizen...

I'm in the process of becoming a permanet resident. , my wife is a USC as well

Now..

Is there any way we can help in order from my brother to renew his visa asap?

I know that is kinda rushed but they really want to come for xmas... and my mom would feel bad if he leaves my lil bro behind

any ideas??

thank you

I'm sorry, I don't know the turnaround time on B1/B2s...how long does it usually take to get an appt?

Edited by guatetaliana

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter

There is really nothing a USC can do to facilitate a tourist visa.

I don't think you will be able to have your brother in the US for X-mas. The next business day is Monday, Dec. 15th. I don't see how USCIS can process anything in 10 days when there is no emergency.

The best that you can do is write a letter inviting your mom and brother to visit and offering to pay for everything. Then your mom can take the letter and your brother to the US consulate and apply for a visitor visa.

Best of luck.
