I checked my case status online today and i got a RFE for my I485. My question is do RFE's affect approval of the I131 ?

12.01.08 --------- Checks Cashed

12.08.08 --------- Received NOA1

12.12.08 --------- Bio done

03.27.09 --------- Received EAD and AP

04.07.09 --------- Received Interview Letter

05.19.09 --------- Interview

05.21.09 --------- Card Production Ordered

05.26.09 --------- Welcome Letter Received

As long as you send in what they asked for ( before the due date) then everything will be fine...it only adds "some" time to the "normal timeframe" when RFE's are sent...I765 & 131 are placed on hold until they receive the info requested...so get them in ASAP

Dec 9.........Welcome noticed received in mail Dec 9.........card production ordered
Dec 14.......Received greencard in mail

an RFE on the I-485 will suspend processing of all unapproved interim benfits applied for based on the I-485... So, yes it will have an affect on the I-131 and I-765 submitted and currently unapproved.

What about an RFE with the EAD? DOes it affect the I-485? I hate it coz it's almost overdue for the 90 days time frame of EAD before they send this stupid RFE!!!

lol the person above you basically answered it:

That would mean going vice versa too imho :)

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!
